Reservations and Deposits and Refunds

• Reservations should be received minimum 1 week before trip dates.

• All reservations are made with a minimum NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $200.00

• If a trip is cancelled by client within a weeks time of departure, there is no refund available.

• No refund will be possible for any unused part of the tour due to passenger decision.

Responsibilities and Obligations

Otorongo Expeditions Amazon River Lodge will be represented by the acronym OTOEXARL

• Otorongo Expeditions Amazon River Lodge acts only as agents for passengers.

• In case of problems such as injury, damage, accident, loss, delay or irregularity during a trip by car, plane, train or other types of transportations out of control of OTOEXARL, we are not responsible what it can cause.

• OTOEXARL deny all responsibilities such as losses, additional expenses, flight changes, sickness, strikes, natural disasters, and quarantine.

• OTOEXARL is responsible only for providing all the services programmed since the arrival of a passenger until departure.

• If any of the above may happen, OTOEXARL will help to sort out certain problems via communication with other agencies.

• We strongly suggests you to buy insurance to cover all the above in addition to emergency, first aid, medical assistance, surgery, etc.

• OTOEXARL is responsible for providing all the services exactly as advertised on the web site.

• OTOEXARL reserves the right to accept or decline any person as a member of any tour.

CONDITIONS AND GENERAL POLICIES

1. OTOEXARL is not responsible for losses of luggage during domestic flights coming to Iquitos.

2. OTOEXARL will not be responsible if the arrival flight to Iquitos is canceled on the day they start the tour, they will be charged the same.

3. OTOEXARL is not responsible for natural disasters when passengers are carrying out their activities.

4. OTOEXARL is not responsible if the passenger does not follow the instructions of the security protocol that provides them with each guide.

5. OTOEXARL is responsible for the care of each client to take the tour from arrival to departure as long as they follow the protocol.

6. To confirm the reservation The Company requests a deposit of 30% in advance and information such as: full names, passport number, nationality.

7. OTOEXARL requires full payment of the tour package upon arrival in the city of Iquitos before taking the tour.

8. OTOEXARL does not return deposits for cancellation of any tour to be taken.

9. Once the deposit or transfer is made, the client accepts our General Conditions and Policies.

10. Customers can change their tour date in advance of 2 weeks with a previous payment of $ 50 as penalty.

PROTOCOL OF THE COMPANY.

1. It is forbidden to touch/ interact with wild animals

2. Do not leave the walking circuits without having a guide at your side.

3. Always wear life jackets when required.

4. Do not buy handicrafts with products that contain animal products.

5. Do not buy any animals or wildlife products

7. Do not “gift”money when on visits to communities.
